Our Prayer Shawl Ministry

Kathy Maresco leads a group who intercede to God to impart His healing power through their beautiful handiwork. They create blankets, shawls, lap robes, Baptismal blankets, bridal shawls, wheel chair totes, & a boatload of Prayer Squares. Fr Nate blesses all of these items.

The ministry has reached out to J’s Chemo Bags (GR) & the Veterans in the Ann Arbor hospital with their creations. Also, toasty winter hats & scarves go to the Impact Center & hats for Kreeger Elementary. Your monetary support makes this possible.

The group accepts all yarn donations (ANY color/amount of 4-ply yarn that is machine washable/dryable).

This ministry meets at 10 AM at Church on the second Wednesday of the month and is actively recruiting new members. They will teach you everything you need to know. All materials are provided to you for free. Create at your own pace - there  is no pressure or quotas.

If this ministry piques your interest or you have any questions, please reach out to Christian Service.
