Diaper Dash AND Giving Mobile - In honor of Mother ’s Day, our Walking with Moms in Need ministry is hosting a drive for the Brighton Pregnancy Help Clinic to run concurrently with the annual Diaper Dash! Look for the playpen located in Higgins Hall. There are tags hanging from the mobile with needed items. Choose a tag, purchase the item, and place it in the playpen. We will have the playpen set up thru June 1, at which time we will collect all the items from the Diaper Dash/Giving Mobile to be sure they bless many moms in need at the PHC!

Migrant Worker Welcome … begins next weekend! Sponsored by the Deacons of Livingston Co, the Deacons are asking for monetary support so gift cards can be provided to the arriving workers to purchase their necessities. Use either the CS envelope in your packet or drop a plain envelope in the collection basket marked ‘Christian Service’ to donate to this worthy cause. Migrant Worker Welcome runs May 24th thru June 8th. Deacon Bill, Deacon Roger, and Deacon Pete extend their sincerest gratitude!
 

On the Horizon

• Mark your calendars now for May 28th, 2025, when Livingston County Catholic Charities (LCCC) will host their annual Salute to the Stars Celebration, where guests will enjoy a night of joyous celebration, exciting announcements, and fellowship. They will celebrate the agency's 40th Anniversary and present several Legacy Awards named after instrumental people in LCCC’s history. • Fishing Derby for Kids: June 7. Brighton Mill Pond. Registration begins at 730 AM. The Derby is 8-11 AM. Bring gear and a bucket for fish. Bait provided. For details, go to www.BrightonOptimist.org

Christian Service Office Hours

We will be reverting to our traditional summer office hour schedule during June, July and August: those three months the Christian Service office will be open the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10 AM until 12 Noon. (June 17, July 15 and August 19) Telephone messages will be attended to on an irregular schedule at least twice weekly.  It is highly recommended you use email (stagnes.christianservice@gmail.com) during the summer to contact Christian Service as our account will be checked several times daily.  Regular Christian Service office hours will resume the Tuesday after Labor Day (September 2).

(Non-summer office hours are Tuesdays from 10 AM-12 Noon. Additionally, the Christian Service email is checked several times a day and telephone messages are checked at least 2x/weekly. If you have a Christian Service "emergency" or if you need a timely reply, it is better to email (stagnes.christianservice@gmail.com) than to leave a voicemail.)
